PI-TV: ECU Looks to Bounce Back

GREENVILLE, N.C. - While Navy was too much for ECU last Saturday, the Pirates have won two of their last three games and hope to get bowl eligible this week against Houston.

The Cougars are headed to the Big East while East Carolina continues to wait for the call. It could be the last chance to play against Houston for quite a while.

Last year the Pirates didn't have their finest hour in Houston, falling 56-3.

Preparation is fast and furious at the Cliff Moore Practice Complex where third year Pirate coach Ruffin McNeill continues to search for the key to winning the last three regular season games. If ECU is able to do so, they could finish at 8-4 with a chance to improve that record in the postseason.

McNeill talks about this week's work for PI-TV and what we can expect when the Pirates host the Cougars in Dowdy Ficklen Stadium this Saturday at high noon. Also catch the latest injury report as gameday approaches.

Stay tuned all this week as Houston Week continues with more interviews and recruiting coverage here on PirateIllustrated.com.
