McNeill Values Recent Success

GREENVILLE, N.C. - With bowl season comes a new bowl destination for East Carolina this year when they travel to New Orleans to take
on Louisiana-Lafayette in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

With duel 8-4 records these two representives from Conference USA and the Sun Belt will meet December 22nd in the Mercedes Benz Superdome scene of ECU's 29-23 victory over Tulane back in Mid November.

ULL had less difficulty with the Green Wave in a 41-13 win but they played Tulane at home in the only meeting between two common opponents.

Terrance Broadway and the Ragin Cajuns got their eighth win of the season on Saturday when they beat Florida Atlantic 35-21 on the road.

Broadway threw for one touchdown and ran 77 yards for another while running back Alonzo Harris ran for three touchdowns for Louisiana Lafayette despite giving up 528 yards in total offense to FAU.

Third year East Carolina head coach Ruffin McNeill is visibly proud of his team and the university for their recent successes.
