Riley Has ECU Ready
Mark Lindsay
PirateIllustrated.com GREENVILLE, N.C. - Lincoln Riley's ECU offense hopes to be ready for some fireworks when the Pirates travel to the Big Easy to take on Louisiana Lafayette.
From what the third year ECU offensive coordinator has seen on film, Lafayette can cause some problems on defense and the Pirates will have to bring their A-game to win it. They also score 35 points a game. That means ECU will have to do their part to light up the scoreboard.
We're going to try to win. We're really looking forward to the trip. It's really been a great year. We have finished so strong. I think that's the only way to end this year and that's to get our 9th win and send our seniors out right. They're a really good team. Anytime you play in a bowl, you'll face a pretty good team. Only the good teams are playing right now and we're proud to be one of those," said Riley, "They don't have many holes, yo'uve got to execute. You have to be sharp and when they do make a mistake you've got to make them pay because they don't make very many. We'll be ready to go, trust me.
