GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina used the Rice game to let out some of their recent frustrations in a 49-13 victory over Rice in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

Dwayne Harris scored three touchdowns including a 92-yard kickoff return and Patrick Pinkney completed 18 of 26 for 231 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Pirates to their fourth victory of the season.

Dominque Lindsay led the ground game with 82 yards rushing before leaving the ballgame with an ankle injury.

Nick Fanuzzi went 25 for 43 through the air for 231 yards including an 80 yard touchdown pass to Toren Dixon.

It was a cloudy, damp day in Greenville for Homecoming and a day where ECU needed to find a way to get back on track - and they did.

Dustin Lineback, Nick Johnson and Van Eskridge led the ECU defense with eight tackles apiece.

East Carolina moves to 3-1 in Conference USA play while the Owls drop to 0-7 and remain winless in league play.

After the game, PirateIllustrated.com was there to provide postgame press conference video and player reactions. You can catch that along with PI First Photos at our Pillage-N-Plunder premium subscriber forum.
