Bedenbaugh Makes, Perhaps, His First Offer in Norman

This past Sunday the University of Oklahoma officially announced the hiring of new offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh, who had been the offensive line coach at West Virginia since 2011. Just three days went by and the Sooners newest coach has already made an offer in his most recent stomping grounds before arriving in Norman.

That offer went out to Rivals100 offensive tackle, Steven Moss out of Fredericksburg (Va.) Chancellor. The 6-foot-4 and 270-pound prospect was one of if not the first prospect Bedenbaugh got in contact with after arriving in Oklahoma.

"What happened was I hadn't been in contact with coach Bedenbaugh for a while and when he got to Oklahoma he hit me up the day after he got there," Moss began. "He was like 'well Steven I just got to Oklahoma and I just got settled in and I would like for you to be one of the first offensive lineman that I offer.' And I was like 'alright coach sounds good.' He said that he had to talk to coach (Bob) Stoops about it. We talked today and he said that everything went through good and that they were offering. I was definitely blown away by that."
