Work toward that end has been fast and furious for nearly two weeks.
For the third year ECU coach, it's a chance to get to .500 in his tenure in Greenville and begin to move the program in a positive direction in the win/loss column. He knows the importance of getting every win possible to pad one's bowl resume.
We really approached practices since Sunday with great enthusiasm which I like," said McNeill, "The execution was good today and I like the focus and urgency as a group. The whole installation is in and tomorrow is a sharpen up day and I'm looking forward to trip to play Tulane. We haven't accomplished anything yet and we want to play our best game this week. The team has been enthusiastic and ready to go. I think they're excited about going out and playing again."
Michael Dobson is back, Grant Harner is still struggling a little bit
but overall the Pirates are in pretty good shape coming into Saturday.
