Pirates land 10th commitment

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Pirate Illustrated has learned that Greenville (N.C.) Rose defensive lineman Jimmy Booth has committed to play his college football for the Pirates.
The 6-3, 285-pounder made the commitment in the last week or so and represents another calculated move on the ECU program's part to land players they can develop into top division brand talent. Players who the staff have evaluated.

An avid weight lifter, Booth is also a good student in the classroom as has been an increasingly common theme this season.
Pirate assistant Steve Shankweiler headed up Booth's recruitment from the local Greenville, N.C. high school power.
Booth's commitment brings the number to ten for verbal commitments to the East Carolina class of 2009.
