Three-Point Barrage

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Shamarr Bowden and Akeem Richmond tossed in 15 points each in a 111-59 victory over St. Andrews College in Minges Coliseum Tuesday night.
Bowden was 4-4 from the arc in the first half alone before ending up with five for the night. Richmond connected on 5-10 from three-point range while Paris Roberts-Campbell heated up, hitting three of six from the arc for 11 points.

The Pirates downed a school record 18 three-pointers, just three from the all-time NCAA single game record.
"It was nice to see a three ball go down. It went down a lot tonight. Hopefully that will help our confidence," said Third year ECU head coach Jeff Lebo who got his 250th career win, "I didn't know... How many have I lost?"
Clavonte Brown had 18 points and 7 rebounds while Demetrius Monroe chipped in with 14 points.
The Pirates got 70 points from their bench. Everyone but one player scored in the victory. ECU led 51 to 35 on the boards against the smaller Knights.
East Carolina(6-1) led by thirty-four, 64-30, at intermission.
"We got a chance to play a lot of people. You know those kids who haven't got to play want to do well. They got some significant minutes. 21 minutes was the most - for Maurice tonight."
With the loss, St. Andrews drops to 0-9 for the season.
The Pirates return to action in the Dean Smith Center on December 15 when the Pirates take on North Carolina.
