East Carolina has the distinction of having the top two receivers in NCAA/FBS history in terms of receptions in Biletnikoff Award finalist Zay Jones who last month took the record from former Pirate and current Atlanta Falcon Justin Hardy.

On Friday, ECU picked up what could be their next great receiver when Deerfield Beach (Fla) Cardinal Gibbons wideout Leroy Henley made his commitment to the Pirates.

The 6-0, 180 pounder ranks 86th in America among receivers in the 2017 class as seen by Rivals.com and is the 90th overall football prospect in the state of Florida.

Henley, who visited Greenville along with Lexington to check out Kentucky last weekend, got a home visit from wide receivers coach Phil McGeoghan and head coach Scottie Montgomery on Friday.

The Deerfield Beach senior is ECU's 17th commitment for the ECU class of 2017. Check out his Hudl Highlights here on PirateIllustrated.com.
