Florida RB Headed to East Carolina

The Pirates received more good news when Lake Brantley High School running back Trace Christian made his verbal commitment to play his college football at East Carolina.

The 6-1, 220 pounder is an 8A 2nd team All-State selection and chose ECU over scholarship offers from N.C. State, Miami, Virginia Tech, South Florida, Boston College, Duke, FAU, Troy and Central Florida.

Christian made his way to Greenville last week to check out the campus and facilities and special teams coordinator Shannon Moore is credited with Christian's recruitment.
