Geep Wade and Ryan Anderson Exit from ECU Football Staff

Both ECU offensive line coach Geep Wade along with inside linebackers coach Ryan Anderson are no longer on the Pirate football staff.

Both Anderson and Wade joined the Pirate football staff when current head coach Scottie Montgomery took over in 2016.

Wade has coached at Middle Tennessee State, Chattanooga and Marshall in his career while Anderson came over from Vanderbilt where he coached from 2013 to 2015. WNCT-TV reported that he was also let go.

It has been tough sledding for East Carolina who has won just six games in two seasons under Montgomery at ECU.

With the recent staff departures, seven of the nine original Pirate staff members have exited the program in just two years.
