Rogers-Anderson Headed to ECU

Columbia defensive back prospect Latheron Rogers-Anderson will be taking his talents to East Carolina.

6-1, 190 pound defensive back/running back Latheron Rogers-Anderson decided Tuesday night to commit to ECU.

The Columbia, South Carolina product also holds offers from Gardner-Webb, Layfayette, Georgia State, Liberty, Towson, Mercer, Appalachian State, Colorado State, The Citadel, Cincinnati, Charleston Southern and Old Dominion.

Rogers-Anderson's pledge brings the Pirates' list to 17 for the Class of 2017 and is the fourth defensive back in this year's crop for East Carolina.

He plays running back where he ran for over 1,100 yards and scored 18 touchdowns to go along with 40 tackles and a pair of interceptions where he was a very effective tackler and hitter in 2015 in the defensive secondary.

Rogers-Anderson as a running back has rolled up 189 yard of offense this season while on defense he has 25 stops including two for a loss along with an interception and a pair of fumble recoveries. He also is credited for four pass breakups.
