The Pirates received some welcomed news when 6-5, 180 pound Atlanta (Ga) Westlake small forward Raquan Wilkins made his pledge to East Carolina.

Wilkins also played for the Georgia Stars who won the Las Vegas Classic.

He visited ECU last fall and also held offers to UMass, North Florida, Tennessee Tech, Texas Tech, Middle Tennessee, Indiana State and High Point University.

He starred on a team that went 27-4 last season is ranked three-stars by Rivals.com and adds to a growing class for Pirate head coach Jeff Lebo's Pirates.
